Samsung Unpacked 2013 :GALAXY GEAR And GALAXY NOTE 3

Samsung released two of its cool gadgets in second version of its unpacking event which was named as Samsung unpacked 2013 episode 2 .It was held at IFA 2013 which is a largest and legal exhibition of consumer electronics product which would be held from 6 September to 11 September. This year its location is at  messe in Berlin, Germany. It was the second version of the event in which Samsung previously announced its S4 in 2012.

Samsung seems to be quite exited for the event. Samsung decided to install about 440 large format displays (LFD) at the event and created the record of largest installation in the history.

Samsung  provided the exhibition visitors with dynamic information through increased visual communication. The LFDs will be installed on both sides of the ‘Discovery Avenue’ at the center of the exhibition hall which made the visitors to have a great visual experience.

Samsung  also installed  video walls using 341 units of 55” LFDs. As a result, visitors were able to see the products on display with greater focus and picture quality as they will be viewed enlarged on the video walls and , 22 units of 75” LFDs were  vertically installed at the entrance of each exhibition zone.The visual effects of the walls and LFD were  powered by Samsung’s proprietary display software named as , ‘MagicInfo Solution’. The software allows and individual content being displayed on each of the LFDs to quickly transform so the individual contents unite and form into a larger visual. The result is a  very large, screen made up of the individual LFD displays.
The installation at IFA 2013 is the largest number of LFDs that Samsung will install at an exhibition and create an record . previously ; in 2010, about 200 LFDs were installed at the Shanghai Expo in Shanghai, China.This installation proved the excitement of Samsung in IFA 2013.

GALAXY GEAR:

Galaxy Gear III

            Samsung launched the GALAXY Gear, its a perfect companion device that further integrates the Samsung GALAXY experience into everyday life. Samsung GALAXY Gear combines smart device connectivity, tailored technological features, and stylish design as a single premium accessory that too in small compact size.

Samsung GALAXY broke the bridges of the gap between the mobile device and fashion world after creating wearable technology”.

      Samsung GALAXY Gear lets its user to get connected to their Samsung GALAXY devices. It notifies users of incoming messages, calls, texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages to the watch and helps users to accept or  ignore those messages. The built-in speaker allows users to conduct hands-free calls directly from the Gear without any wires, maintaining connections to their mobile communications without troubling  them.

     The Memographer feature users can record both photos and video to create quick, visual records of important information or events from their daily lives, as well as share them on their social networks with a 1.9 Megapixel camera pre installed in gear.

     New security enhancement Auto Lock automatically secures the connected Smartphone screen any time that GALAXY Gear is more than 1.5 meters away from the galaxy device, and then unlocks the Smartphone when the connected devices are near each other again.

     Find My Device is an function which helps users find the location of their smart devices when they have been misplaced by making them beep, illuminate and vibrate.

     With Samsung GALAXY Gear, users can also control the songs played on their Samsung GALAXY devices, they can pause, play, stop, start and even skip an song even when the device is not in reach

Samsung GALAXY Gear will be launched with the GALAXY Note 3 in more than 140 countries around the world starting from September 25. Its estimated cost is around 200$.

     Click s pen makes life make life easier, faster and more exciting.The new S Pen reinvents and modernizes the classic note devices -taking experience to a level up by providing the ability to accomplish everyday tasks with just one click. The advanced S Pen is designed to be fully functional as a communication point between the phone and the user by creating essential input and controlling features.

     A simple click of the S Pen button while moving over the screen introduces users to Air Command, a group of five powerful features that truly make tasks easier and faster. With the Air Command feature, there is no need to switch between screens, remember commands or search up different menus. The Air Command feature provides access to the following important functions:

-Action Memo allows users to hand write a note.

-Scrapbook enables users to organize or track down content and information from various sources including the web and Gallery in one place so that users can easily look back at collected content all at one place.

-The Screen Write feature captures the full screen image of the current page on the device and enables its editing. 

-S Finder allows users to search for content stored on their device

Samsung KNOX:

The new GALAXY Note 3 comes with enhanced privacy and security protection provided by Samsung KNOX software. Users can activate Samsung KNOX which allows them to run and store security-sensitive applications and data inside a protected execution environment called “container” which can be locked. The security inside the container is strengthened by system-level protection of Samsung KNOX against malware and phishing attacks as well as hacking attempts on physical devices through net or cables when devices are stolen or lost.

Additionally the users may choose to store enterprise applications and data such as corporate email, contacts and calendar and allow the IT department to manage the container through EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server) which can be share with some of the device after interconnecting it. These features make the GALAXY Note 3 an ideal device for business officials.

Find My Mobile

    GALAXY Note 3 is attached with an improved Find My Mobile feature that allows users to disable the phone when it is stolen or lost. With the enhanced user authentication, the technology does not allow the stolen mobile phones from being reset to factory settings, and allows users to remotely track or erase the data from their mobile phones after being lost or stolen.
