IIT IISc JAM and CEED Design exam 2015

JAM Exam For Post-Bachelor and PhD.:

  Are u aware of JAM exam which is conducted by the iit, if u, then prepare for the next jaam exam and not then read this.

 Most students and people are knowing about the engineering and medical exam for the best college and university.After doing the bachelor science courses then what to do for the further courses?? that is the big question....

  But the opportunity is not stop. Also doing Bsc, U have to opportunity to go in to the IIT and IISc for Master and PhD courses. IIT and IISc conduct JAM exam for that MSc and MSc + PhD. Dual courses.
It's a JAM(Joint Admission Test) for, M.Sc. (Two-Year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.- PhD., M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, and other Post-Bachelor Degree Programs at the IITs and the integrated PhD. Program at IISc.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS  FOR ADMISSION:


The candidates who qualify in JAM 2014 shall have to fulfill the following Eligibility Requirement (ER) for admissions in IISc & IITs.

(i). For IISc Bangalore: First class marks (as declared by the University) for Un-Reserved/OBC Category Candidates and Second class (as declared by the University) or 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off, for SC/ST and PD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.

(ii). For IIT Guwahati: At least, (a) 55% marks in Major/Honors and Pass in all other subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries or(b) 55% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for Un-Reserved/OBC Category Candidates; and at least (a). 50% marks in Major/Honors and pass in all other subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, or (b). 50% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects,including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.

(iii). For all other IITs: At least 55% aggregate marks,without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for Un-Reserved/OBC Category Candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks,without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.

Design Examination CEED by IIT and IISc:

CEED 2015
It`s CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design)  is a joint entrance exam for PG (post graduate) studies in the field of technological design held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

The examination is hosted by the Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

It is a descriptive test covering a student's logical, creative, observation and drawing skills, tested in particular for admission to various design courses.

Eligibility criteria:

There is no rule for  age and  candidate is able to give number of times.

The candidate who atleast have the Bachelors degree in Architecture can appear in examination, Fine Arts or Engineering from a recognized college or university of India.

The candidates who has qualified the valid CEED Examination score become eligible to apply for the admission to various design program under IITs and IISC.

A CEED score promises far the admission to the desired institute.The Design Aptitude Test(DAT) is the second test in which all the candidates has to appear and followed by an interview prior to final selection by the respective institutes.

Eligibility criteria for CEED 2015 exam:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Design/Interior Design or equivalent (4 year program after 10+2). 
  • Professional Diploma in Design ( NID/CEPT or equivalent 4 year programme after 10+2).

  • B.F.A. (4 year professional programme after 10+2.

  • G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification professional experience.

  • Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Computer Applications(2 year programme after10+2+3) .
